Up for sale is avintage to olderbracelet. Handmade Native American band style cuffcrafted for a medium sized wrist. It is of a consistent width of 1 3/4"and has a nice heft for its size of over 3 1/2oz (3.59oz or 101.7g) on a digital scale prior to packing. End to end itmeasures 5 5/8" plus a gap of approximately 1 3/8" for a total wearable length of 7". With its width, itmaytend to wear a tad bit smaller than its actual length measurementandwill probablywear most comfortably on about a6 3/4"or just slightly largerwrist. It is made of silver, at least of coin grade, possibly better andhas a simple yet intense design and the whole to melooks to be totally wrought. In Pic 9, in between the elliptical elements, I think you canreadily see the working of the silver and in this imagenote the absent crescent ray stamped design along the bottom of the upper left boss...interesting that this didn't register with me until I was handling and describing the bracelet for the matter neither distracting nor detracting...but find it ratheraddsto the inherent charm and beauty of this piece. Please refer to photos for your take on age, design and condition. Not new yet very nice, visually it is exquisitely appealing and hasa condition to match.
The low opening is to encourage early and often offerding and it also gives most everyone a chance to place an affordable offer on this rigid bracelet which I would describe as 'old and right'...any adjustment will likely require the help of a jeweller or silversmith. Alongone ofthe inner edgesis a lightly inscribed orhand-incised set of initials? or a trader code? of: LTO, seePic 5.Gorgeous piece and a beauty for display --if it fits, that's an added bonus. Greatbracelet of very decent weight, without problems or disappointments -- a colleague sourced this second-hand at a Northern California sale but beyond this I have no specifics on its history. And there you have it. Any interest in adding it to your collection?
- U.S. Buyers ship for$3.50 which includes Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.
- International packages ship via USPS Registered service ($11.75US) plusFirst Class International Post ($3.US)whichinsures the packageand provides a trackable delivery and wll most likely require a signature for package release on your end. Registered service costs a little more and takes a little longer for delivery yet it is the surest method of safe delivery I have found USPS to offer.
