This Olds Ambassador Vintage Trumpet in Brushed Raw Brass is in Good Condition for an old trumpet! This high quality Olds brand name trumpet is MADE IN AMERICA (specifically Fullerton, California)!

Raw brass is very popular in Europe, but it is not as popular in America. Raw brass has a distinctive vintage look and sound that many musicians love! This look is not for everyone... for example, a typical school band student wants a bright and shiny instrument. Thus, before placing a offer, please make sure that the intended recipient of this beautiful trumpet likes the raw brass look. Raw brass has a darker vintage look that usually appeals more to adult musicians and antique collectors, than it does to young band students.

Note: A raw brass finish will not shorten the life of an instrument UNLESS it is in an environment that is particularly conducive to metal corrosion, like a humid basement or shed (for example). As long as the instrument is kept clean and is in a good environment, the outside raw brass surfaces will be just fine. The same is true of the inside raw brass surfaces, which applies to all brass instruments. THE INSIDE SURFACES OF ALL BRASS INSTRUMENTS ARE RAW BRASS. Thus, all brass instruments should be kept clean (inside and out) and stored in a good environment for a long life. After cleaning, valve oil and slide grease should be used on a regular basis.

I\'m Joe Bolton (HornRepairman), and I personally tested, cleaned, and lubricated this instrument. I certify that it is fully functional and is all ready to play. Please note that all parts shown in the photos are included, but it doesn\'t include a case. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
