Click to View Image Album This is an antique gentleman’s briar wood dress cane walking stick…applied decoration…from an extensive estate cane collection…circa 1880.

The cane is a bit over 34” long…traditional handle about 4 ¾” across…shaft is natural briar wood retaining its original finish with slight age wear…great ornate collar believed to be blackened silver wrap with silver rope and iron pins with silver heads decoration…looks to be missing several decorative pins…brass tip…see my pics. This great gentleman’s walking stick, carried for style, not for full support since it is a bit flexible, makes a nice addition to your collection.
