This is aWonderful Large Vintage1950 - 1960'sStanding Sewing Box. Thesewing box is a: Hawkeye by Burlington Burlington Basket Co / Burlington, Iowa Thesewing box itself iscovered withan attractive gold embossed/quilted vinyl with metallic gold trim. The top ishinged,opening to a roomy satin topped interior with a removeable "shelf" for spoolor accessory storage. The box stands on 4 wooden/teak legs creating a wonderful multi-functional stool, ottoman, or stand. The sewing t x 16.5" w x 16.5" d. The satininterior of the box has some slight spotting from over the years and there is a small hard to see tear inthe vinylon theback of the box. The exterior of the box has no spots, stains, etc. Other than that, the sewing box was well cared for and is in excellent gently used vintage condition. Please see photos for details. This is agreatworking and storage stand.... both functional and attractive. Perfect for sewing, knitting, crafts, books... for anything you choose.

For some listings, where there is a significant cost difference, shipping service (ie. Priority, Parcel Post, First Class, etc.) is left to you. Please keep in mind, delivery times can vary significantly, based on choice. We have experienced Parcel Post deliveries taking 3 to 4+ weeks. Unfortunately, this is out of our control. We combine shipping. If an item is lost or damaged, and the package is insured, buyer must file claim as required by insurer. Many of the items we list are wonderful vintage items.
