Orange Drop capacitors are currently being produced by Cornell Dubilier Electronics. Sprague introduced the Orange Drop design in the 1960s. Sprague Electrics was absorbed by Vishay in 1993. Then SBE, SB Electronics, picked up the Orange Drop line until 2012 when it was sold to Cornell Dubilier. These caps are the same as the ones offered by Sprague in the 1960s.
These caps are a great improvement over the stock tone caps on electric guitars.
These are a great replacement upgrade for humbucker or single coil equipped guitars
