Here for you is a SUPER rare complete numbered set of LAST UNICORN CONCEPT ART PRINTS. These are prints of paintings done by Hidemi Kubo, the lead animator of The Last Unicorn movie.
Mint condition!
They are #195 of 500 sets made. It was a very limited run of these, and you can\'t get these anywhere else, as they quickly sold out.
Each print is numbered in silver ink on the front, and signed by Peter S Beagle in black ink on the backside.

Roughly 9\" x 11\" in frame
As soon as these prints were in my possession, they were framed and safely stored.They are being sold in the frames.

5 HIDEMI KUBO 1979 CONCEPT PAINTINGS FOR THE ANIMATED VERSION OF \"THE LAST UNICORN\"

The original Rankin-Bass plan for producing THE LAST UNICORN was that American artists would do all the character and layout design, then Japanese animators would bring these concepts to life in motion. But the Japanese team wasn\'t happy with the American designs, and in 1979 Hidemi Kubo, the project\'s head animator, did a series of paintings to show the producers what he thought the characters should look like.
A quick examination of these five images (especially the \"Full Cast\" shot) reveals how influential Kubo\'s work was on the final film. Not all of his ideas were used whole, or without some modification — but many were.
These paintings were unknown in America until 2007, when Conlan Press, working with LAST UNICORN author Peter S. Beagle, arranged to have a limited edition of 500 copies printed. ALL of the complete sets except for this one are now sold out, and three of the five images (Lady Amalthea, Last Unicorn, Full Cast) are no longer commercially available.
This is the very last complete set available from Conlan Press.
