I built this using all the parts and decals. I adhered the decals with a brush applied water base glue for definite adhesion. I added detail with enamel paints, and for additional scale I installed a bell pull rope. I also added 4 items not of the kit, but that gives more towards a realistic view: these are 4 beveled gauge lenses that are on the boiler. This item is approx 19\"L X 9\"W X 11\"H. This item is in the 1/12 scale. Any questions please ask.
