The Beholder (2011) is a beautiful Green Verdite stone Sculpture from one of the Shona Fine Art Sculptors of Zimbabwe. This is an expressive and elegant one of a kind, authenticpiece in pristine condition. There were only a few hundred true Masters of the Shona Fine Art Movement. As the movement grew the artists found the harder material to be a greater challenge to their mastery. This sculpture was carved by hand from the extremely hard verdite stone- rating a 9 (out of 10) on the stone hardness scale. Signed by the artist, Nicholas Tandi.
