Early Spanish Colonial spur showing heavy patina and corrosion and a rowel that does not turn. This spur is missing one rowel tine in the position of the shank (displays well) and a rowel diameter of 3 1/4" This spur has pointed chap guards along with an encased rowel pin which I believe to be very early features .
