Special and quality Smithsonian Institution Alice In Wonderland \"Cheshire Cat\" ornament. As stated in the Institution\'s information, this ornament (also see the others I have listed for sale) has been adapted from illustrations in Lewis Carroll\'s classic found in the library collections of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York City.
Measuring 2 1/2\" tall and 5 1/2\" long, this detailed ceramic (face and ears) and furry collectible is beautifully designed. In overall excellent condition, the figure is possibly missing whiskers on the right side; one is curled up (see photos). He comes with tag and the original plastic box (which has tape residue). A Smithsonian Institution label is found on the box.
