Signed 18K yellow gold Dachshund 3D pin brooch real ruby eyes GAMO of Italy For Sale -

This pin is stunning. I cannot get a photo to do it justice. To be honest the gold is so brilliant that my camera can\'t get a good photo. I took this little guy to a reputable jeweler to have the pin stem replaced and he was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship on this piece.I can include the receipt for $117.00 to replace the pin stem. There are similar Dachshund brooches out there including Cartier but this one really stands out. It is three dimensional in that it can stand up on all four paws and both ears are artfully crafted and he has both eyes in natural rubies (more pink than red), he sports a fine collar with attached chain. He has been professionally cleaned and looks amazing. Inside he is marked .750 (18k) and GAMO which my research indicates is a maker in Italy. He is approx. 9.6 grams of 18K yellow gold. The jeweler\'s assessment of value was $1200-$1400. When comparing this little guy to similar ones you will find many only have one ruby eye and the brush marks on the gold of the coat is often not as fine. Size 1 3/8\" long.
