This listing entails 10 pounds of natural shale rock extracted from our private property in Peoria county IL! These are hand pulled from the earth in natural deposits. These are all randomly selected varioused sized pieces to fit in size to a 11” x 8” x 6\" flat rate tracked and insured shipping box. If you have any special requests of rock shape or size we are more than to happy to accommodate within our power.
*These are only washed with water so they are not disinfected in case if they are used for aquarium or other purposes that may suggest sterilization.
There is at least 10lb of rock and may be a few ounces over 10lb.
Shale is naturally flaky and do not be alarmed if there is small fragments that have broken off in shipment. If your needing different shapes, sizes, thickness for your projects do not worry as it does break easy and can broken into layers or split in halves without excessive effort.
