Good Scottish longcase clock movement & dial @ 1810. Original Regency period 8 day striking movement with very good original dial paint. This movement came with the case and pendulum and weights that I also have listed this week. Dial measures 17\" tall x 12\" wide. Movement is original to dial, with no extra holes anywhere. Dial paint is original and excellent and solid, with some some very minor scattered losses as shown in the photos. Great signature. Elgin is way up on the north coast of Scotland. The 8 day 2 weight driven movement is complete and intact, with no missing pieces, and is relatively clean - it should run with relatively minor oiling and adjusting, but no guarantees. The hammer shaft leading up to the hammer has been repaired. This movement is extra nice with deadbeat escapement. Original calendar drive wheel is intact and in good order. All 4 hands are original and great - the calendar hand has lost its tail. Great original bell rings out true - bell has two holes on one side which do not affect sound. No pulleys. . FedEx ground shipping in the continental USA will be $40.00.
