Safeguard Wormers 3 Pack. Safe-Guard® ( fenbendazole ) granules is a powerful intestinal dewormer for dogs. Recommended for the removal of Roundworms ( Toxocara canis , Toxascaris leonina ), Hookworms ( Ancylostoma caninum , Uncinaria stenocephala ) Whipworms ( Trichuris vulpis ) and Tapeworms ( Taenia pisiformis ).

Safe-Guard offers a quick and easy broad-spectrum deworming solution, treating and controlling more worms than any other over-the-counter single worming product available. Safe-Guard treats against Tapeworms, Roundworms, Hookworms, and Whipworms. Easy to feed granules that mixes into food. Safe-Guard is safe for young puppies over the age of 6 weeks, pregnant female dogs and heartworm infected dogs.

How to Use Safe-Guard Canine Granules

The daily dose for Safe-Guard® Canine is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. You should weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right size and number of packets. If your dog's weight is in-between the suggested dosing sizes, it is safe to use the next higher size.
Feeding Instructions
Give Safe-Guard® Canine to your dog by mixing the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food. Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food. You may need to moisten dry dog food to aid mixing.
Important: Repeat the daily dose for three days in a row.
Recommended Deworming Schedule
Deworming schedules may vary depending on the climate where you live and the activity of your dog. The following schedules may be used as general guidance. Newly weaned pups (6 to 8 weeks of age) should be dewormed at 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age.

Note: Two times two weeks apart, should be enough to eliminate the problem repeat a third time if heavy infestation was present. Two of these packs should be purchase for the pet to bede-wormed properly.

Treat the dam at the same time as the puppies. Dogs over six months of age should be dewormed at least twice each year. Each deworming requires 3 daily treatments with Safe-Guard canine
