Roger’s grounding as a landscape painter makes him unique in the world of canine art. His background topography is truly an integral part of his paintings. Take note of his ability to use light, form and composition within his paintings of dog breeds in their natural settings. "A Lesson in Comportment" is a classic example of Roger’s work, full of joy and movement, you and almost hear the yapping of the puppies who are running playfully at their mothers heels. Roger has published this as a "shot" edition of just 200 signed and numbered copies and I expect them to sell out soon!
I firmly believe that Roger is one of the finest self published artists working in the UK today, I was delighted to be able to offer advice to Roger when he first wanted to self publish his work in the late 1980’s and have been selling his Limited Editions ever since and rate him as one of the best of the self published artists working in the UK today. His first canine Limited Edition to be published was "Dandies on the Cheviots" and we still have Number 1/100 hanging on our wall at home.
All Roger's Limited Editions are personally hand signed and numbered by the artist on the white border and all carry the artists personal embossed hand stamp. The quality of the printing is outstanding and I am so convinced as to the quality of Roger's Limited Editions that I offer a full money back guarantee if you are not fully satisifed with your purchase.
