Royal Copenhagen figurine featuring a Young Man Writing a Love Letter. He holds a pen in one hand, a piece of paper in the other, and gazes into the distance, deep in thought. This NEW figurine bears the usual Royal Copenhagen marks, including the three wavy blue line trademark of Copenhagen, and the figurine number 271 (Royal Copenhagen item # 1249 271). Nicely detailed in the venerable Royal Copenhagen tradition. Approximately 9 1/4 inches long (about 23.5 cm) and 4 1/4 inches high (just under 11 cm). Discontinued in 2008, and sold out at the factory years ago, but I have a few still NEW IN BOX that have been sitting in storage since then. The 2008 MSRP (List Price) was $350. Because these were in production for only a very short time, only a very small number of these figurines were produced, and they are virtually unavailable on the secondary market. I have it priced more than 40% below its 2008 wholesale price! An unbeatable value!
