This is a new case fortheAN/PSN-11 Precision Lightweight GPS Receiver (PLGR, colloquially"plugger")
The PLGR is a ruggedized, hand-held, single-frequency GPS receiver fielded bythe US military.Introduced in January 1990,and extensively fielded until 2004 when it was replaced by its successor, the Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR). Inthat time period more than 165,000 PLGRs were procured worldwide, and despitebeing superseded by the DAGR, large numbers remain in unit inventories and itcontinues to be the most widely used GPS receiver in the US military.
The case measures10 by 6by3 inchesand hasthree external pockets, one of which contains the shoulder strap. The others would have contained extrabatteries, the Operations and Maintenance manual, external antenna cords,etc.
