Ridley Helium Carbon Road Frameset - XL (60cm) For Sale -

I bought this frame new and have ridden it 480 miles. It hasn\'t been dropped or crashed and the only blemish is a small scratch in the paint on the downtube from where I scuffed it with an allen wrench (pictured). I really like this frame but a large will fit me better.Ridley is a Belgian brand and is popular throughout Europe. The Helium is touted as a climbing bike and an emphasis is placed on making it light and responsive. You can find a lot of favorable reviews of it online. If you are a fan of Global Cycling Network, you may recognize the Helium as one of the presenters\' bikes and Ridleys appear on the show frequently. Personally; I find it to be a great balance between bottom bracket stiffness, weight and ride quality. I\'m impressed with how little it flexes during high power efforts. There aren\'t a lot of cobble stone roads in east Tennessee so I can\'t attest to its performance on \"pav\'e\". It does do a great job of smoothing out road chatter without feeling squashy. I was concerned about the steep head angle being twitchy but haven\'t find it to be that way at all. I quickly learned to appreciate how little effort it takes to make quick maneuvers like avoiding debrisand it\'s a lot of fun to carve corners on. I\'ve had it up to just under 50 mph and felt completely confident in its stability. It is also quite light for a frame this size. I measured it at 1570 grams with everything included. To get much lighter would mean spending closer to twice as much.
