They have large flowing half-moon tails and large pectoralfins. (dumbo or elephant ear). Males have a beautiful red mosaic pattern withblack fins and can have a blueish gray or silver shimmer on the body dependingof tank color (fish in photos are from a dark background tank and have a darkerbody). Females will show some color on thetail and fins.
