RARE VINTAGE PIONEER CS-52 16 OHM Bookshelf Speakers For Sale -

Very Rare Vintage Pioneer CS 52 speakers, pair. Woofers need refoaming/ new surrounds but otherwise in very nice vintage condition. 16 ohm. The cabinets are very nice with only light signs of use, some scratches on the very bottom, one tiny ding to one corner. The wood is really nice and if you look closely, the grain has been bookmatched! I did not oil the wood and it still looks great, would look amazing with some oil but I will leave that to the new owner. 1960s vintage Japanese quality speakers. Since woofers need new surrounds you can hear a flapping/buzzing when the bass is turned up. I did not remove the woofers, but carefully felt the cone from the backside and you can feel that the surrounds are cracked. The speakers are tested otherwise and sounded good beside the buzzing, defintely not blown. These are really well made speakers with lots of life left.
