The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory was established May 1, 1775. From the start, RC marked their products with three wavy lines. They symbolize Denmark\'s three bodies of water, The Sound, The Great Belt, and The Little Belt. They are particularly well known for their annual Christmas plates, which began in 1908.
This adorable piece was created byJ.M. NISSEN.He primarily designed figurines of working people during his tenure at Royal Copenhagen.
