RARE, HENRY WRIGHT DUDLEY WARRANTED SOLID 139, ANVIL, 1880\'s to 1914 ENGLAND : In researching this anvil which my Dad has had in his garage forever, I began to read some of the blacksmiths posts about the Henry Wright Anvils. I read that according to the book \"Anvils in America\" by Richard Postman, Henry Wright Anvils were produced in Dudley, England between the late 1880\'s and 1914. This anvil is 24\"Long x 11\" High x 9\" Wide. It is mounted on a large wooden block with casters. Stamped on the side of the anvil (which I tried to capture in one of the photos) is: HENRY WRIGHT DUDLEY WARRANTED SOLID 139
On the front of the base (facing the horn) are two #5\'s stamped on the outside bottom edges.
