Rare early Lothrops Farnhan & Co advertising sign:

This beautiful antique sign/door push/plaque is 21.5 inches high and 13.25 inches wide. Lothrops, Farnham & Co. was one of the largest clothiers, hatters, and furnishers east of Boston. The plaque has normal wear with some oxidation. There is one small hole drilled at the left bottom corner that seems to be out of place. That one hole is open along the bottom edge. Please check photos for closeup views. This sign/door push/plaque would be a fantastic addition to your advertising collection. There is a beautiful trade mark eagle at the top. The center emblem reads "Reliable Outfitters * Toujours Pret* LOTHROPS, FARNHAM & CO". At the bottom "DOVER-ROCHESTER, N.H." are named. This RELIABLE OUTFITTER specialized in equipment for hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and outdoors activities/work of all kinds.
