This stunning crucifix hung on the wall over my late grandparent\'s bed for over forty years. The body of Christ is made of pewter while the cross is made of wood. On top of the wood is a sheet of an acrylic that is tinted blue. I was able to capture the color by photographing the cross on the chair, outside in daylight. It measures about 14 inches by seven and a half inches. I think it\'s very beautiful and you don\'t often see such solid construction. I hope it will find a new home where it will be appreciated as the special item it is.
