Offering an amazing Antique Cigar/Tobacco Humidor by the celebrated Benson and Hedges (early 20th C.entury).

The interior metal label reads -- By Appointment to His Majesty the King. BENSON and HEDGES. Importers of Havana Cigars and Egyptian Cigarettes. London New York. Patented 1901.

Beautiful rich dark wood. Superbly carved with Dragon motif in high relief. Sinuous lines. Very sculptural.

Retains original lock and 2 working keys. Metal interior liner, trimmed on top with red "velvet."

In very good antique condition. Box is very solid and sturdy. Opens and closes smoothly. No cracks to wood. Minor surface wear commensurate with age. One corner has some minor "roughness"-- see photo. Interior shows wear commensurate with use.

Delectable cigar smell emanates from interior when opened. Superior craftsmanship and quality. Wonderful Find!!

Measurements: 13" across, 8 3/4" tall and 10" deep. Wood is 1/2" thick.
