This limited edition money clip is numbered 32/102. The # 102 represents the number of U.S. Opens golf tournaments hosted by the USGA. In checking with the Malcolm DeMille Inca, the records have been lost and no one knows the actual number of money clips ordered and received by the USGA. The money clip sold for $650 by the USGA and they ordered piecemeal depending on the orders received.

This is quite a beautiful money clip with a 14k gold Shutter Boy figure on a black oblong onyx stone, surrounded by the raised lettering 2002 U.S. OPEN * BETHPAGE BLACK sterling silver medallion with a gold wreath. The money clip is hallmarked 14k and sterling silver.

This was a great victory for Tiger Woods in near darkness over Phil Mickelson.

This is the most beautiful money clip in the USGA limited edition series using precious metals. Because of a lack of sales, the limited edition money clips using precious metals.have been discontinued.The USGA now uses pewter.
