Up for your consideration is a delightful “Fawn or Young Deer” porcelain figurine #806 designed by sculptor Fritz von Graevenitz in 1925 for Rosenthal, made in Selb Germany.Hard to find, this charming porcelain figurine features a delicately hand-painted young deer or fawn standing alert, very natural and realistic. The bottom is hallmarked in green Rosenthal with a crown, KONSTABTEILUNG SELB along with the impressed number 806 (the date code indicates 1941 production), also marked on the base are the designers initials. The dimensions are approximately 3 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide. This beautiful ceramic figurine is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and little-to-no surface wear, very nice (please see all photos).A splendid addition for the collector of timeless Rosenthal style and design._______________________
