Rare small one day version of the Dutch folklore Friesian stoel clock. Made in the provence of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. Long clock building tradition in Friesland. They don’ t come any nicer then this. This clock features are:

• Lead ornaments on front and sides. Wooden Mermaids on the back.
  
• App. 1950s old
  
• Rare 1 day single weight clock work made by Warmink.
  
• Hand painted dial with a Dutch landscape.
  
• Hindeloopen painted case.
  
• Pendulum swings in the back and is attached with a hook to the top of the hood and a rod goes through it that comes from the escape.
  
• A moon dial that keeps track of the stages of the moon, when set to your local moon phase. Above that is a moon calendar of 29.5 days.
  
• Chimes on a bell one time for the half hour and a full set of strikes for the full hour.
  
• It hangs 15.5" tall and 9.5" wide and 4.75" deep.
  
• In excellent condition, minor signs of use as to be expected. There are some chips of paint missing on the lead ornaments.
