RARE BELGIAN M1868 SAWBACK SWORD BAYONET FOR THE TERSSEN CARBINE For Sale - New and Used

For Sale is a very rare Belgian M1868 bayonet with a sawback for the terssen carbine rifle, the item can be found in "Collecting Bayonets" by J. Maddox on page 208.
The bayonet is in very good condition with light surface rust and will clean up perfectly, the blade is stamped on one side with the date 1879, and with a circled GB and another acceptance mark, on the other side. The steel cross guard is marked with the serial number 2859. The brass grip is in very good condition, the leafspring based release mechanism works perfectly. The total length of the bayonet is 600mm and the blade length is 480mm. shipping worldwide is 42$
