Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Children\'s Medallion Glasgow. I read that this medallion was given at an event in Glasgow in 1897 to honor Queen Victoria\'s diamond jubilee. The medal was made by Vaughton & Sons of Birmingham, England. I am not sure what the material is. It could be brass I am not sure. A fete is often an outdoor activity with competitions so I imagine that this could have been given to the participants. The medal is about 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches across from point to point. I read somewhere that there was about 93,000 of these medallions given out. Please contact with any questions.
