This amplifier is in new condition. It was purchased from an elderly man\'s radio collection. The amp was well taken care of. The transformer doesn\'t come with the amp. When plugged in and switched on, you can hear the fan; but needs the transformer to excite the tubes with RF. It operates on 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands. If you Google search this item, you will find the owners manual with detailed specs.
