Pair of Porcelain Balinese Dancers Signed by Dorothy Kindell Circa Late 1940's

Description

You are offerding on a pair of porcelain Balinese Dancers signed by Dorothy Kindel.

The dancers are from the late 1940's.

The Male is about 13 -1/2 inches high and from elbow to elbow about 10 inches - knee to toe about 7 inches

The Female is also about 13 -1/2 inches high, elbow to elbow 9 -1/2 and knee to toe 8 inches

They  both have a hole on the top of each head, concealed by the head dress. They also have holes in the bottom. Perhaps they were meant to be lamps.

Both pieces are in excellent condition. The only flaw we could find was a small chip in the lower left hand corner of the Male's loinclorth. This flaw is only noticeable with great scrutiny if you turn the statue upside down.

The lot weighs in at 5.4 lbs before proper packing for safe shipment.

SHIPPING

We purchase protection for all of our shipments and this charge is reflected in our handling costs.   We do not ship to Post Office Boxes.  Please use our shipping calculator to determine your rate. Local Pick-up is available for all sale lots.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We comply with all customs regulations governing your country. These regulations may pre-empt your ability to offer. Please check with us to see if we ship to your country. We purchase full insurance on all of our shipments and this cost is reflected in your shipping and handling charges.  All International Orders valued at over $2500.00 USD require a 100%, buyer paid, approved escrow service. If there is no escrow service for your country then we simply will not ship there. You as the buyer are responsible for all customs and duties. Your customs form will be marked "Merchandise" NOT GIFT and the true purchase price will always be properly noted.

Also note that we are saleeers and do not own our stock.  Each of our consignors decides on a lot by lot basis if their item is eligible for international exposure. Although many of our lots are offered for international delivery, we have no control over consignors who will not allow for international sales.

RETURNS

We are a respected and well established sale house and stand behind each and every one of our sale lots. Although these are consigment items, we will accept returns as long as you notify us of your intent to return within 3 days and ship the merchandise back within 7 days of your receipt.

Merchandise must be returned in the same condition we shipped it to you in.

This policy does not apply to the rare exceptions we list "AS IS"
