The Double Whelping Box ismade of PVC for easy cleanup and disinfecting. Put the puppies in one side...clean the other. No puppies crawling all over you while you clean! AND the PVC is not very porous, so messes wipe right up. Stays super clean and sanitary.
It is very important to keep the whelping area clean and sanitary. The double design gives you many options to keep things nice and tidy. Early on, the second box can be a safe resting place for mother and her favorite cushion. Later it is an easy transition to feed messy soft puppy food on one side thenplop the puppies on the other sideto their cleannapping and nursing area. Also, there are holes all through the floor of the box for easy hosing down and drainage. (see photo)
