In addition to his early satirical drawings Arthur Heyer mainly painted pictures of animals, especially cats. There are many images that were oftencommissioned works,on which he painted in many shades Angora cats are depicted naturalistically. For this reason, he was also known as \"Cat Heyer\".There are also numerous pictures of him from other animals, as of deer, hares, pheasants, chickens, deer and dogs (especially his dog Mucki)
