Original correct WWII period Weaver 330C/M73B1 Scope used with the 03A4 sniper rifle.

Early war example. Nomenclature plate marked Weaver 330C with electro-pencil inscription on the side “Telescope M73B1 Serial Number XXXX”

At the beginning of the war the US purchased commercial scopes and marked them with electro-pencils with the military designation and serial number. Later the government placed contracts with Weaver and Lyman to provide scopes and these were then marked at the factory with the appropriate designation and serial number.

Optics are nice and clear no chips, correct early cross-hair reticle.

Scope has no dents etc but has some slight bluing wear and a little pitting on the barrel towards the front (see pics).

This is a correct 330C with the elevation and windage knobs NOT a 330 with elevation and windage adjustments done with screws.

THREE DAY INSPECTION BUT SCOPE MUST BE RETURNED IN THE EXACT SAME CONDITION AS SENT AND BUYER MUST PAY INSURED SHIPPING BOTH WAYS. IF THE SCOPE SHOWS ANY DAMAGE FROM USE ETC NO RETURN WILL BE ACCEPTED.
