Original Indian War Era 45-70 Pattern 1873 Bayonet Scabbard :

Original Pattern 1873 Scabbard.
Leather is in good condition with soem scuffing and light scaling/cracks as shown.
Metal scabbard is in nice shape but does appear to have a curve to it. I did test fitting a 45-70 bayonet into the scabbard ind it fits perfectly.
The only real issue with this scabbard is that the two corners of the inside metal throat have split from the metal body. I have shown a picture of the worse split above. Again, a bayonet will fir in thescabbardfine.
