Old WEBSTER M Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Ignitor Oiler Steam Tractor Motor HOT For Sale -

This is a pretty decent original Webster magneto for an ignitor fired hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is a model M with 1 magnet. The magneto mounts on a 1 5/8 x 2 inch bolt pattern and was used on many gas engines of the day. There is very little wear in the bearings. I checked it just before I took the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly. The mounting threads appear to be in good shape. It has the original name band on it yet. It will need springs, rollers, and a new leadout wire which are all readily available rather inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. These Webster M magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you\'ve been looking for one don\'t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Let the pictures be your guide. With just a little elbow grease it could be a perfect magneto.
