Up for sale is an old HOMEMADE CRYSTAL SET RADIO IN AN EXCELLENT OAK CABINET. I\'m calling it ahomebrew because I can\'t find a manufacturer\'s name anywhere. The solid oak boxis made of 3/4" boards and has been nicely refinished. The brass corners,hinges, door latches and handle have been polished. There are four rubber feeton the bottom and two on the door and all are in excellent condition. There is astorage shelf on the inside for headphones, notepad, etc...The black bakelitepanel is excellent with no chips, cracks or breaks that I can see. All of theknobs are present and turn freely. The white numbers show very minor wear andare very easily read. An unusual feature to this set is it has a night lightover the left hand dial. The little white mother of pearl button to the leftoperates the light and it even works. There must be a battery of some type in itas the case is rather heavy. I purchased this from an estate and all the itemswere in immaculate condition. You are buying this electronically AS IS as Icannot test it as I don\'t have a headset. The box measures approx. 13"wide, 9 1/2" deep and 10 1/2" tall excluding the handle. PLEASEreview the photos and ask any questions prior to offerding.
