Here to sell is this northeast Iowa is a hard to find 1926 Nickel D tractor. It is an early one made Jan. 2, 1926 and shipped originally to Woodward, Wisconsin. The tractor actually has a 24” Spoker flywheel on it now and the owner years ago bought a Nickel reproduction flywheel that goes with it and that has nice aging on it now as shown in the pictures. The motor has been overhauled with new guide and valves and the head was redone all by a man in Kansas over several years ago. However the owner got it home to Iowa and never got around to putting the rest of it together and basically it hasn\'t ran in several years since it was overhauled. And now with too many projects we hope somebody will find this a interesting project to take on as it is a rare to find tractor.(Feb. 10th: I added a photo above of the original early D fenders we have that\'d go with the tractor or could have your choice of the pair shown up on the upper barn shelf there. They are all in average shape like you’d expect on a 90 year old tractor with normal dings.) The tractor will need a new wood platform on back which are fairly east to make.Very correct including the carb. that has been professionally rebuilt and correctDixie 246Cmagneto. Correct rear steel and correct skinny spoke fronts and the other correct parts like the toolbox, covers, seat, etc. are there with it or on it like the steering wheel knob. It has never been painted and you can see the original John Deere stenciling still on the hood. If you do not want the 24\" Spoker D flywheel we will buy it back for -$500 off your winning offer price. Otherwise both flywheels are included in the price. Also there is a bucket of old lugs that go with it for the original correct steel wheels.
