NICE Colmont Ft. Paris France Opera Glasses Binoculars Mother of Pearl EXCELLENT For Sale -

Well, I doubt my photos can do justice to the beauty ofthese guaranteed vintage opera glasses with handle that I just found in a localestate. They were made in Paris, Franceby the Colmont Ft. company and sport lovely mother of pearl decoration – all ofwhich is in GREAT condition. Thebinoculars seem to work well and I find no cracks or other notabledefects (there is what might be a slight bend in the ring around one of the lenses because it may be a bit out of round). They have aretractable/extendable handle (sorry for the poor photo of the handle shownextended, but I didn’t realize until I was listing the glasses that the handleextended and I took that photo with a different camera). The have the \"Colmont Paris\" mark on each eyepiece, and also \"France\" and \"C\" inside a star mark on the frame. NICE, NICE, photos are of the actual item(s) I\'m selling (except for stock photos shown from \'s catalog that may appear in some sales).

SHIPPING IN GENERAL (Domestic and International): I will send you an invoice via the check-out system. You are responsible for all shipping charges (see the \"Shipping Calculator\"). NOTE: BECAUSE SELLERS NOW HAVE TO ENTER SHIPPING CHARGES AS PART OF THE SALE PER RULES, I DO MY BEST TO ESTIMATE SHIPPING FOR USE IN THE POSTAGE CALCULATOR EVEN THOUGH THE ITEM IS NOT YET ACTUALLY PACKAGED UP. SO, IF AFTER YOU GET THE PACKAGE YOU FIND THE POSTAGE WAS ESTIMATED TOO HIGH PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I\'LL REFUND THE DIFFERENCE.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: For shipments within the US I will probably get you a quote for Priority Mail and Parcel Select (and/or First Class or Media Mail if applicable), but let me know if you prefer some other type of shipping and I will do my best. LOCAL PICKUP in Topeka, KS, is always available at no extra cost.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: On international orders I will probably quote First Class Mail and/or Priority Mail (keeping in mind First Class cannot be used if the weight is over 4 pounds or it exceeds certain size limits). Because of \'s changes telling sellers they have to take PayPal, on International orders I also ALWAYS reserve the right to REQUIRE an item to be sent by Priority Mail so that I can purchase indemnity to cover myself on higher ticket items (that is because you can\'t insure International First Class and of course PayPal won\'t confirm international accounts).

HANDLING CHARGES: The cost of mailing materials keeps going up, and I package things well (see my response). So, to cover some of these every-increasing costs, and as allows in its rules, I must now include an additional $1.00 \"handling charge\" on most sales to defray my expenses.

PAYMENT and KANSAS SALES TAX: Per \'s policy, in my ad I can only ask for payment via PayPal (I have no way to accept credit cards directly). On sales to Kansas residents I will have to collect applicable sales tax.

CUSTOMS DECLARATION, DUTIES, TARIFFS, ETC.:

• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility.

• Please check with your country\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding/buying.

• These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up, so do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

• We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as \"gifts\" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

RETURNS: Everything I sell is purchased at estate sales, sales, and other sales, and I am NOT an expert on anything that I sell. So, EVERYTHING is sold AS IS. In some cases I will consider accepting return of an item, but that is in my discretion (but as you can see by my response, I have always been fair to everyone I deal with, so please offer with confidence). I didn\'t used to follow this \"as is\" policy, but due to a growing number of purchasers who are scammers, and with taking away a seller\'s ability to leave negative response for a bad buyer, some buyers don\'t have any incentive to play fairly. So, those few dishonest buyers and \'s rule have forced me into this policy.

MISC: I DON\'T END sales EARLY, and if I didn\'t list it as a \"Buy It Now\" item then I don\'t intend to offer it that way, so there is no reason to ask.

If has some sort of problem during this sale, I reserve the right to cancel the sale and re-list the item.

If there are props or such in the photo, they are not included in the sale (rulers, display shelves, coins to show size, mannequin heads, etc.).
