Tablets or liquid for removal of roundworms and hookworms in dogs or puppies Pour on food or dose directly For dogs as young as 2 weeks of age By Pfizer. Pyrantel Pamoate in tablet or liquid form for removal of large roundworms and hookworms. Tablets are scored for easy dosing of smaller dogs. Available in Large and Small dog sizes. Pleasant tasting liquid can be given directly into dogs mouth or mixed with food. Oral syringes for liquid dosage are sold separately. For dogs and puppies only. Deworming Guidelines For Puppies Administer at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks of age. For a puppy at increased risk, also treat at 12 weeks, and then monthly until the puppy is 6 months old. Treat mother at the same time. Note Deworming history of newly acquired puppies should be obtained to determine whether additional deworming is needed. For Adult Dogs Administer monthly or as recommended by your veterinarian. Also monitor and eliminate parasites in pet s environment. Newly Acquired Animals Worm immediately, repeat in 2 weeks, then follow above recommendations. Liquid Daily dosage One ml per 2 lbs of body weight or 1 teaspoon 5 ml per each 10 lbs. of body weight.
