This is a gorgeous rock hard piece that has beautiful sculpted looking artistic designs in the wood. It sits well in many positions and just look great anyway you set it! A really nice unique piece. It measures approximately 16" X 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" at widest parts. It will not sink in water, it will need to be weighted down if used in an aquarium.

We try to only select the best pieces and the driftwood w pick up is clean and "sand polished" but we are in no way experts on driftwood. We do know how to answer questions honestly so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any concerns. We wash each piece and let it sun dry and we try our best to accurately describe each listing, we will give you an idea if they are heavy or lightweight and the measurements. Some of the pieces sink in water at the time of listing and others will not which makes a difference in aquarium use or taxidermy / reptile use so we will be happy to answer any specific questions you have about an item for your particular use. We will be happy to test the piece in water on request to see if it sinks before purchase

The Rosewood manor is located by the Coldwater Creek in the Blackwater River State Forest in Northwest Florida, all our driftwood is collected from a 5 mile stretch of the Coldwater Creek which is a clean shallow creek in the middle of the forest with white sand bars and gravel bottom surrounded by magnificent Cypress, Cedar and Pine trees. Our section of Coldwater Creek is situated in a remote area that has very few visitors so we are able to pass on to our customers beautiful pieces of driftwood that are the pick of the creek.

Each piece of Driftwood is carefully washed and sun dried then carefully packed for shipping.We will combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible (some larger pieces cannot be combined). 

A COUPLE OF SMALLER PIECES CAN BE ADDED TOGETHER WITH A LARGER PIECE WITHOUT INCREASING THE SHIPPING COST SO ADD A FEW MORE PIECES TO YOU ORDER AND GET MORE FOR YOUR SHIPPING VALUE.

The shipping charge listed on this listing is the actual cost for shipping this piece to your zipcode, We don't charge any extra fees on our driftwood because we realize the cost of shipping large or heavy pieces of wood can be high and we don't want to add to that. 

The shipping cost on this item is calculated by weight of the package delivered to your zip code and size of the box it is shipped in. We offer different shipping services and have found that the cost varies alot depending on size, weight and zip code so look at all the options we make available for shipping on the checkout page. You may choose either Priority Mail, Parcel Post or in some cases UPS for shipping.-Priority Mail is delivered in 2-3 days, Parcel post takes up to 2 weeks for delivery and UPS ground takes about a week.
