Created in 1958 by Herb Gardner, the bank stands 6" tall and has a felt cover on the bottom. The box has a round hole, see photo #2, I guess the hole was used to pull out the side, so you could get the bank out. The bank has marking under the hat coin slot, but i can't make out what it says.
