This listing is for Golden Mystery Snail juveniles about 1/2"=3/4". The first 2 pictures are of adult breeding stock. We will ship juveniles that will be smaller (about 1/2"- 3/4") and less developed than the adults. We carefully nurture our snails so that they are healthy and pack them so that they arrive with you in good condition.These snails are unsexed.Golden Mystery Snails will grow over a year or so to become up to 2.5" to 3" when fully grown. They will keep your tank clean of algae but do need some calcium to develop healthy shells. They have voracious appetites and grow in size VERY quickly if they are fed well; a young Mystery Snail can double in size in a matter of weeks to months. As with all freshwater snails, Mystery Snails are very sensitive to copper, so it's advisable to monitor your copper levels if you use tap water in your tank.We only ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If possible on the day following the receipt of your order and payment. Orders received on Wed-Sun are usually shipped the following Monday.Shipping is by First Class package.
If your snails arrived in poor health, please send two clear pictures in the sealed bag or container before opening taken within two hours of delivery and let us know as soon as possible. Releasing the fish or snails without communication and photographs, ends the "arrival" period and indicates that the fish or snails are acceptable in the condition they arrived.Do not order if the temperature at delivery is below 35F or above 100F. Our shipping boxes are insulated and we will add oxygen and heat pad when necessary but we cannot be responsible for fish left more than two hours on the doorstep in high or low temperatures.DOA PolicyWe guarantee live arrival on all one and two day shipments as long as they are delivered within the time frame specified by the shipping carrier.Two clear photos of the DOA livestock in unopened shipping bag are required to receive credit. These images must be received within two hours of package delivery.Fish or snails are not guaranteed past arrival. Opening the shipping bags ends the 'arrival' period and, without photographs, indicates that the fish are acceptable in the condition they arrived.DOA credits are redeemable for the same species of fish on the next order as available.No refunds will be issued for DOA livestock.
