How to use:
1.HOld the product in an upright position and slowly submerge into tank water.
2.Submerge the products 5-6cm below the water surface to get accurate reading.
3.The salt water will seep in from the side inlet and the indicator needle should response to the salinity buoyancy.
4.If there are some air bubbles on the indicator needle,do give a slight shake to get rid of the bubbles.This will make the reading more accurate.
5.If the reading is between 1.020-1.023 PPT marking,the salinity of the tank is at the healthy level.if not,please follow up with necessary rectification.
6.The test would be most ideal if the water temperature is at the range of 23℃-28℃。
7.After the test,always pour the water in the hydrometer out from the top opening.
Maintenance:
1.After each test,always rinse the product with clean freshwater.
2.Any residual of salt on the needle will affect future readings.Make sure the rinsing is thorough.
3.If there are any stubborn residual of salt not able to be removed by rinsing,do soak the product in slight scidic water for up to 30mins.Then rinse again with freshwater before re-using.
