Like many early edition fountain pens produced by Michel Perchin, Inc., the meticulously crafted and exquisite design of the Russian Eagle Pens were inspired by and actual Fabergé Egg, this time, the Fabergé Imperial Coronation Egg of 1897. (The Coronation Egg was presented by Czar Nicholas II to his wife, Alexandra Feodorovna.) The pen incorporates dazzling starburst patterns with trellises, and is enhanced with the bold black enameled Imperial Eagle.
