"ARNOLD" a One Of A Kind Artist Bear by Mary Holstad of Mary Holstad & Friends.
A few details:
ARNOLD is all hand made of hand dyed mohair. His color is what I would call a chocolate brown with a lot of sheen. My first three photos show his color the best. In my other photos his fur looks reddish, which it is not. To show how off the photos are, Arnold is sitting on a blue chair (easy to see on the first three photos). This is the fault of my camera, and I tried to correct the color in the computer with limited results. Also, in my last photo, showing the inside of his hang tag. The tag is resting on his leg and you can see his real color. His mohair is slightly wavy, medium long, and very soft.Arnold has a wonderful face. Full of character, with hand shaded details on his muzzle. He has a black perle cotton nose and brown glass eyes.His foot and paw pads are either the reverse side of mohair, or a kind of upholstery material. They have hand shading too.He is 5-way lock nut and disc jointed.He is comfortably stuffed with poly-fill and pellets for a nicely weighted hug-ability. Arnold is a big fellow. He's 27" tall.He has two sewn in tags on his back. One is the official tag for Mary Holstad & Friends. The other is a suede tag stating his name, that he's one of a kind, Mary's signature, and the year, 2003.He is in MINT condition.Arnold comes with his two hang tags.I have been his sole owner. I purchased Arnold from Mary Holstad in 2003 for $700.00.
