Live Salvinia - Floating Fern Aquatic plant. For Sale -

The Salvinia is an aquatic plant native to South America. It is a small floating plant that grows in clusters and develops into dense, floating mats or colonies in quiet water, undisturbed by wave action.

The floating individual leaves of Salvinia are roughly (1 cm to 2 cm) with a distinct midrib along which the leaf may fold forming a cup-shaped appearance. Salvinias have little stiff hairs on the upper surface of its leaves.

I use Salvinia to help with improving the quality of water naturally and for breeding small community fishes and shrimps that can hide below the roots.

Its roots grows to about 1 inch in depth.
