The set comprises of:
1. Leybold Heraeus Fine Beam Tube (good working condition)
2. PHYWE 0-600V Regulated Power Supply (good working condition)
3. set of safety 4mm banana plug connectors
important: the red unit pictured does NOT come together with above listed. It was used to supply higher current to Helmholtz coils (up to 3A) rather than 0.5A allowed by PHYWE Supply, which allows higher curvature of the electron beam and better overall effect. There is no need for it to conduct the experiment-the PHYWE Power Supply has output to power the coils, and if need for higher current arrises, it can be easily replaced by most bench Power Supplies. If you still wish to receive the red unit, please contact me first.
Pictures show electron beam in magnetic field of varying magnitude. The glow, being faint, is best visible in darkness, but not exclusively, as seen on one of the photographs.
