Parian Ware comes to mind, but i\'m not expert.
you know, a hard-paste unglazed porcelain made
to resemble marble. first made in the mid-1800s
by Staffordshire potters, it was soon after made
in the U.S.A. at Bennington Vermont. it\'s older,
but exactly how old is anybody\'s guess. anyway...
